Spring’s Hope

Not lost to me in these days of horror and tragedy is the beauty that surrounds us this spring. We have a cute little courtyard and didn’t notice the beautiful weeping Cherry Tree in bloom until this year. It’s just gorgeous and while I didn’t do it justice, I did have to paint it. I know I’ll want to rework it but I wanted to post it while it was still “in bloom.”

The title – Spring’s Hope, is to remind us all that in the midst of this pandemic there are some good things. Like Nature.

By Maura Satchell, contemporary artist and writer

Contemporary artist, seeker, writer. Curious to a fault. I let the fates take me where they will and never say no to an adventure. That has led me on some heart-stirring journeys and impetuous choices. I regret nothing.
